Automatic Artwork Sizing |
Without expensive software and the knowledge of how to use it it is often not possible for Production Managers to assess author supplied art properly without sending it to a studio for assessment. Especially as authors can supply it in a multitude of formats, sizes and colour spaces. Those days are now gone. With our system, you can load all your electronic art into a folder, click an appropriate workflow and have all art automatically rendered to a consistant width, colour space, resolution (1200 dpi for bitmaps and 300 dpi for grey scales and CMYKs). It doesn't matter if the author has supplied everything in RGB colour Jpegs at 1000 dpi at 55cm wide, the system will automatically resample them to match your requirements and put them back on the system as easily viewable PDFs or Tiffs. That way you can easily view them for assessment of quality and even annotate them directly on the system. In seconds! As you can see from the simple 4 figure example below, we have an RGB colour Tiff, a bitmap Giff, an RGB Jpeg and a grayscale GIF. |

A couple of minutes later a new collection will appear with all the art rendered, in this case, to 25 pica wide, black and white and 300 dpi. All in a nicely viewable Tiff file which can be annotated, commented on and approved as required. |
